Homemade anti-wrinkle cream: which skin type is it suitable for?

This cream is particularly recommended for  normal to dry, as well as mature and sensitive skin with wrinkles . However, it is not suitable for women under the age of 25 with a tendency to oily skin.

The ingredients nourish the skin and provide deep moisture. They also  protect against free radicals and promote the regeneration of the skin.

Below you can find out more about the benefits of the individual ingredients.

Coconut oil

Virgin coconut oil is used in many different ways in cosmetics and in the kitchen. It should be very healthy, even if some spirits still diverge here.

The external application  is perfect for combination skin, because this precious oil donates moisture and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It leaves behind a silky skin and a delicate aroma.

Coconut oil is the starting point in this recipe, and various other active ingredients are also added depending on the skin type.

Beeswax

Beeswax is also one of the basic substances, because it enables us to produce a compact, homemade anti-wrinkle cream.

While coconut oil is ideal in cold temperatures, it melts easily when heated, so it’s better to combine it with beeswax.

Beeswax also helps  against impurities in the skin and softens skin spots.

Wild rose oil

Rosehip oil has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its excellent anti-aging effects. This valuable oil contains vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants.

It  therefore stimulates collagen production, prevents wrinkles and possibly reduces them.

Wild rose oil is also excellent against skin spots, stretch marks, dryness, irritation and the consequences of excessive exposure to the sun, as it  regenerates the skin.

In the evening, the oil can be applied directly to the skin, but the homemade cream is more suitable in the morning.

Vitamin E.

Vitamin E is highly recommended both internally and externally. It also helps to better preserve the cream. Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect  and rejuvenates the skin, it also protects against free radicals.

Essential oils

Essential oils should not be missing in this cream, they give a pleasant aroma and supposedly strengthen the properties of the other active ingredients. We particularly recommend  geranium oil, which regenerates the skin, or rose oil, which smells wonderful and tightens the skin.

Open coconut and coconut oil in the bottle

Put the following ingredients in a glass container:

  • 20 ml coconut oil
  • 30 ml beeswax

First melt both ingredients in a water bath and gradually stir in with a wooden, glass or ceramic spoon.

Then take the mixture off the stove. Then you can add the remaining ingredients:

  • Five ml of wild rose oil
  • 5 ml of vitamin E.
  • Five drops of geranium oil (optional)
  • 5 drops of rose oil (optional)

Then stir everything well and let cool down.

We also recommend storing the cream in the refrigerator so that it lasts longer.

If you don’t want to keep the cream in the refrigerator or if you live in a very warm climate, you can use 10-15 ml more beeswax.

If, on the other hand, you want a slightly more liquid cream, you can use a little more coconut oil and reduce the beeswax.

You can try different amounts and ingredients yourself .
